Vascular LasersVascular lasers work by selective photo-coagulation of the blood vessels, meaning the laser beam is selectively absorbed by the pigment in the blood (hemoglobin) leaving the surrounding tissues untouched. After the blood vessel closes de to heat it fibrosis and is reabsorbed gradually over several months. Depending on the laser wavelength, spot size, and power, a wide range of blood vessels may be eradicated. Conditions such as capillary damage damage due to vein conditions, photo damage, rosacea, capillary malformations such as birthmarks, now have a solution. Your physician can control the intensity and depth of penetration and area these treatments cover, 1-3 treatments are typically needed for isolated veins. The redness from rosacea can be reduced as much as 80% following the progressive treatment regimen of the photofacial. The maintenance required varies on the type of problem from none to yearly. At Laronn Clinique for Laser and Skin Therapy we have two superficial lasers that work on small blood vessels from the top of the skin and one endovenous laser for large varicose veins that closes the vein from within Endovenous Laser (ELVT) Treatment EVLT is a varicose vein treatment that replaces surgical vein stripping. In clinics that have the Sonosite Ultrasound equipment to diagnose the problem in advance of treatment, the treatment can be directed specifically to the cause of the problem instead of treating unnecessary areas. The Laronn Clinique is the only center in Denver with the $35,000 sonogram equipment and the $40,000 EVLT laser. How it works Recovery Time & Cost | |||||||
