How it works

ThermaFractional is a combination of two procedures requiring usually only one visits. Tissue tightening is achieved through the application of either infrared light or radio frequency to the collagen in the skin causing it to tighten and contract, as well as stimulating the skin to produce new collagen; thus smoothening the wrinkles and providing a lifting effect without surgery.

Fractional resurfacing delivers focused "micro beams" of energy to create fine columns of heat in the skin. This process stimulates production of healthy tissue throughout the skin layers including production of new collagen. It provides correction on a variety of surface related problems such as discolorations, lines, wrinkles, large pores, scars, improving skin tone and texture for a more youthful, fresher appearance.

The procedure takes from 1 to several hours, depending on the size of the area treated., and the severity of the problem. The doctor will advise you if you will require more then one resurfacing treatment.
