How it works
Epilight uses pulsed light energy to remove hair and impair its re-growth. First a cool gel is applied to the area to be scanned. Then a hand held unit sends pulses of light that gently penetrate the skin and disable hundreds of hair follicles simultaneously. When the fel is removed much of the hair is wiped off with it. The remaining hair in the area falls out within a week or so. When light energy is delivered to the hair, you may feel a mild sting or pinch similar to the snap of a rubber band. No local anesthesia or pain medication is required.

Recovery Time & Cost
You may experience some mild redness, swelling that usually goes away in a few hours or days. In rare instances blistering may develop. The number of treatmentss required varies depending on hair color and density of the hair. Typically a series of 6 treatments are necessary for long-term results. Each session usually lasts 10-30 minutes. You may resume regular activities immediately. You should avoid sun exposure one week prior to your treatment and two days after your treatment.
